| CoCroft Music Company was established in 1904 by C.C. CoCroft, who built pianos at the store in the early years.
From 1909 to 1917 CoCroft published sheet music, but in 1932, Chris CoCroft took over his father's business. By this time the store became the major source in the area for RCA and Victor phonographs, records and radios. Many pieces of the past can still be seen, such as the cash register made for the store in 1911, and older instruments and musical memorabilia are on display at the store.
