3/4 Custom Real Estate Websites

3/4 Custom Real Estate Websites

So what is a 3/4 custom real estate website?

It’s as close as you can get to a custom website without the custom website price tag and lengthy build time.  At a fraction of the cost of a custom website, you will have a hand-picked design, built specifically for your business needs.  Every aspect of your website is custom, except that we choose your design from thousands of existing WordPress themes.  The WordPress themes we work with are cutting-edge, highly rated, tried and tested and thoroughly modern.  Each theme has undergone a tremendous amount of programming and design even before we customize it for you.  This is one of the reasons how we are able to create such high quality work at such good pricing and in a timely manner.

Why it’s a better option than a custom website

A fully custom website will start with a design created from scratch and developed specifically for you.  This will require you to invest a lot of your time in meetings and proofing with a website designer.  This time costs money.  A good custom real estate website that includes all the elements of a Style Agent website (responsive design, WordPress, etc.) should cost thousands of dollars (if it doesn’t – beware!).  Rightly so!  A good custom website could take months to complete.  Most Realtors®, especially those just starting out, simply don’t have the time or money to invest in such a project.

Why it’s a better option than a semi-custom website

Semi-custom website design is a gray area.  Many companies claim to offer semi-custom websites, when in fact they are just templates.  We feel that the best example of a semi-custom website is what one of our competitors offers.  Basically, you get a full custom homepage but the rest of the pages are purely template based.  Not necessarily a bad thing but chances are you’ll be paying more for a semi-custom website from other real estate website providers, than a 3/4 custom real estate website from Style Agent.

Why it’s a better option than a cookie-cutter template

Real estate is highly competitive and setting yourself apart from the competition is going to help you stand out from the crowd.   Sure, you can get a template for 100 bucks and look like every other Realtor out there – you also get what you pay for.  Typically, a template will require you to upload your information, photographs, etc. and place them in designated areas of the website.   This results in pixelated images that are not resized correctly, along with a host of other formatting issues.  Template based real estate websites are usually lacking in flair or personality and most templates are poorly designed and very dated looking.  If that isn’t bad enough, you will more than likely NOT own the design or website and will need to pay a monthly payment to the website company to simply ‘rent’ your website.  Like we say, you get what you pay for, and you will look like 99% of other realtors that also didn’t invest in creating a professional online image.
