Today is the first day of our favorite month. Our love for October came from our many years in Santa Fe, New Mexico where we would head out on the Aspen Vista Trail to admire the aspen trees in various states of their seasonal changes – yellows, oranges, and greens. It was simply amazing to see under the clear blue New Mexico skies. We would then drive back into town to finish the day with a bowl of posole smothered in red chile, and prickly pear margaritas from The Shed. Aah, those were the days.
