SiteCare Website Maintenance

Your SiteCare subscription includes 40 minutes per month that you can use for work performed by our design team. This covers requests such as creating a new page, content edits, blog posts, uploading photos, SEO, etc.  Basically, any ad hoc work you are requesting our team of website designers to perform on your behalf.

Unlike other website developers, we calculate design time to the minute and do not round up to the nearest quarter, half, or full hour. Therefore, if your job takes 7 minutes, then 7 minutes will be deducted from your monthly allocation, giving you an honest and precise approach to time assessment.  A few simple notes about design time…

• Design time minutes do not roll over to the next month.  Unused minutes will be gone and reset for the new month.
• If you require more than your allocated minutes of design time in any given month, additional time can be purchased as needed at our regular hourly rate.
• Your monthly SiteCare report will provide a detailed breakdown of the design time minutes used each month and we can also provide the information by email upon request.
• Technical support, bug fixes, and WordPress maintenance are not taken from the design time minutes.  Tech support, etc. is unlimited and will not affect your monthly design time allocation.

In the unlikely event that your website is the victim of a malware attack, we will locate the offending files, clean the infection, and remove the malicious content at no additional charge to you.  The website will then be restored back to full health and closely monitored to prevent a reccurance of the same problem.

We manage the WordPress core release updates to make sure everything continues to run smoothly on your website. WordPress is constantly evolving so it’s important to keep WordPress software updated to the latest version for security, new features, speed, bug fixes and compatibility.

Our WordPress websites are loaded with free and premium plugins that are essential to the website’s performance and functionality. These plugins are frequently updated by the developers to stay current with the latest WordPress core version, so we manage those updates in your website.

WordPress Theme Updates
WordPress developers will periodically roll out a new version of a theme to fix bugs, increase performance, enhance security and stay current with the latest version of the WordPress core. For your peace of mind, we handle the delicate upgrade to the latest version of the theme.

Each month, you will be emailed a SiteCare report detailing everything we have done for your website during the previous billing period. The downloadable/printable report includes detailed information about your website, backups, security, analytics, performance grades, and custom work notes.
