SiteCare

Your SiteCare subscription includes 20-120 minutes per month (depending on your chosen plan) that you can use for work performed by our design team. This covers content support requests such as creating a new page, content edits, blog posts, uploading photos, changing logos, installing plugins, SEO requests, design consultation, updating contact details, etc. Basically, any ad hoc work you are requesting our team of website designers to perform on your behalf.

A few notes about content support…

• Unlike other website developers, we calculate content support to the minute and do not round up to the nearest quarter, half, or full hour. Therefore, if your job takes 7 minutes, then 7 minutes will be deducted from your monthly allocation, giving you a precise approach to time assessment.
• Total time calculation includes the work requested and the email communication required to complete the job.
• Content Support minutes do not roll over to the next month. Unused minutes will be gone and reset for the new month.  Additional minutes cannot be ‘borrowed’ from the next month.
• If you require more than your allocated content support minutes in any given month, additional time can be purchased as needed at our regular rate of $90 per hour.  Time and cost will be agreed upon and payment collected prior to work being undertaken.  We will never charge your payment card or proceed with any work without your prior consent.
• Your monthly SiteCare report will provide a detailed breakdown of the content support minutes used each month and we can also provide the information by email upon request.
• Technical support requests, bug fixes, server updates (DNS changes, etc.), and WordPress maintenance services do not count toward your Content Support minutes.
• You can upgrade and downgrade between the SiteCare plans to match your budget and needs.  We can take a look at your usage history to determine the most economical plan.  Any change to your SiteCare plan will take effect at the start of the next billing period.

In addition to the initial scan, Link Monitor will run through all the links* on your monitored site once a day.  We will then notify you if any issues with links are discovered on your website and provide options on how to fix them.

In the unlikely event that your website is the victim of a malware attack, we will locate the offending files, clean the infection, and remove the malicious content at no additional charge to you.  The website will then be restored back to full health and closely monitored to prevent a reccurance of the same problem.

We manage the WordPress core release updates to make sure everything continues to run smoothly on your website. WordPress is constantly evolving so it’s important to keep WordPress software updated to the latest version for security, new features, speed, bug fixes and compatibility.

WordPress Plugin Updates
Our WordPress websites are loaded with free and premium plugins that are essential to the website’s performance and functionality. These plugins are frequently updated by the developers to stay current with the latest WordPress core version, so we manage those updates in your website.

WordPress Theme Updates
WordPress developers will periodically roll out a new version of a theme to fix bugs, increase performance, enhance security and stay current with the latest version of the WordPress core. For your peace of mind, we handle the delicate upgrade to the latest version of the theme.

Each month, you will be emailed a SiteCare report detailing everything we have done for your website during the previous billing period. The downloadable/printable report includes detailed information about your website, backups, security, analytics, performance grades, and custom work notes.
